Collector - Seattle - Sierra Forest Products - Kent, WA

Sierra Forest Products is looking for its next great employee to join our Kent team in the role of Accounts Receivable Representative.

This is a full time salaried position working Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience in Accounts Receivable.


• Strong collections experience is an asset.


• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.


• Good organizational skills.


• Strong communication skills.


• Excellent customer service and people skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.


• Excellent command of Mircrosoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Build a working relationship with customers to improve collection of past due accounts.


• Answer phones.


• Liaise with the sales department on a regular basis.


• Maintains records of invoices, debits and credits.


• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales department and customers.


• Protects Upper Canada Forest Products by keeping information confidential.


• Collect money and provide receipts.


• Assess and issue credit.


• Release (approve) orders.


• Data enter invoices for payment.


• Manage and organize bank deposits.


• Review and update credit files.


• Ability to recognize risks and escalate these matters to the appropriate person.


• Contact customers regarding invoices or accounts.


• Help resolve any customer issues regarding their account.


• Other duties as assigned.
