A thriving primary school based in the inner London borough of Bromley is looking for a full time (35 hours) general teaching assistant to start in September. The successful TA will work on a long term supply basis, will be paid a daily rate and will be paid on a weekly basis. The contracted salary will be in accordance with the teaching assistant pay scales.

The teaching assistant role will be to work in a Year 2 class on a full time basis. The job will involve working mainly with core subjects on a one to one basis. Therefore strong literacy and numeracy skills are paramount. You’ll work closely alongside the class teacher who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and also the literacy coordinator on the school.

The Headteacher is looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join his KS2 team this September. To be considered for this teaching assistant job you’ll be someone with at least one year’s experience as a full time, paid teaching assistant in London or an inner City school. Previous experience with EAL or SEN would also be beneficial.
