My client primary school based in Bexley now formed as an academy is seeking a graduate for a September start to work as a teaching assistant in their primary school. The graduate will be working with one of the top schools in London and will look great on your CV ahead of applying for a PGCE!

During your placement you will receive valuable in class experience by supporting the teacher in setting up classrooms, assisting pupils with their work and also engaging in extracurricular activities such as after school tuition.

The graduate will receive ongoing training to excel in the role leading to a future as a primary teacher.

They have a great relationship for the community and are excelling in their results every year. Therefore, the successful graduate will be someone who is highly motivated, driven and has the ambition to have a long term career in education.

The school are more than happy to put the graduate teaching assistant on a school direct programme in order to improve their skills and receive the training needed to become a future teacher. However, it is optional as you will still receive full support and training during your placement which will be great experience in going on to completing a PGCE.

As previously mentioned the school is based in Bexley and has great transport links in and out of London. After a long week you can enjoy all that London has to offer whether it is theatres, bars, restaurants or a trip down to the local pub.

Requirements

• Recent graduate (Within last 5 years)


• Commit to working full time for the rest of the academic year


• Experience in working with children (Voluntarily or non-voluntarily)
