We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to play a key part in our expanding Mathematics Department.
There is an opportunity to cover the role of Key Stage 5 Co-ordinator on a maternity cover basis during this appointment due to the popularity and expansion of Post-16 Mathematics. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher of Mathematics, with significant A-level experience, from September 2016. The role involves leading KS5 and assisting the Director of Mathematics in the implementation of the new A-level curriculum whilst developing the offer at Post-16 to meet the needs of all the students.
The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teaching looking for career advancement. You will play a key role in the Mathematics department as we strive to set challenging targets with high expectations for all students.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an outstanding classroom teacher who can inspire and excite students about their learning, particularly at Key Stage 5
- Possess recent, relevant teaching and leadership experience
- Be confident with the use of data for tracking student progress
