Due to the ongoing expansion of our school from one form to two form entry and the recent promotion of our senior leaders we are looking for highly skilled, energetic, creative and innovative teachers with leadership potential to join our teaching team and play a key role in moving our school from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’.
Take a look at this short video with our children talking about their time at DBCPS. This is just a snippet of how our children view our school and what you could look forward to by becoming part of our team. We pride ourselves on making the children’s time at our school as engaging, and as creative, as possible.

- Want to make a difference to the lives and futures of the children at DBCPS.
- Show a commitment to developing partnerships within school, with parents and with the wider community.
- Work well alongside a diverse team and, with our open door policy, engage with the friends and family of DBCPS.
We will offer you:
- Quality training opportunities to develop your practice further.
- A modern, open plan school environment celebrating children’s work and achievements.
- Flexible PPA arrangements allowing teachers to take PPA time off site.
- A highly dedicated team of staff all with one vision in mind; to provide the very best education and opportunities for all our children.
- A supportive leadership team with in-house coaching/NQT mentoring provided.
- An inspiring curriculum that gives the children a chance to explore, learn and to express themselves.
- Incredible children who are eager to learn and set their own high expectations.
- The technology and support to allow you to deliver high quality, interactive lessons.
- Free Private Health Care is provided as part of the employment package.
- Staff receive reduced price and free travel on the local Fast Track bus service for work related purposes.
Our Ubuntu philosophy is a very important part of who we are and what we believe as a school and wider community. The school council, governors and parents are very involved in the continuing development of our school.
We encourage applicants to visit the school before shortlisting and interviews as our school is a hub of activity, and only by experiencing it will you understand the passion and dedication on display.

Learning innovation and Ubuntu are two elements that are vital to Dartford Bridge Community Primary School.
Following our opening in an award winning new building in 2009 we are a school that continues to grow and expand. We are located on the new Bridge Community Campus and more information about the local area can be found here.
We currently have 352 fantastic pupils including a maintained nursery and two form entry in Year R and KS1. From September this will extend to our first ever two form entry Year 3 with additional classes opening over the new few years.
Visit our website to see some of the exciting adventures that the staff and children embark on including; Residential trips, Minecraft Club, Street Dance and Football. These are just some of the exciting extra-curricular opportunities we provide and encourage our children to participate in. While visiting the website please make sure you check out our ‘In the Spotlight’ section – our weekly celebration of our children’s talents inside, and outside, of school!
The end of year productions are always a huge hit with the children, families and even the Mayor of Dartford. Guests who attend proclaim they will return again next year (and they do).
Staff and pupils are proud to be a part of the school and community. Why not join our exciting school that is working towards becoming ‘Outstanding’ and share in the achievement of our pupils and staff?
