Our client are a busy high volume car dealership group who are looking to recruit a Funding Clerk to join their team based in Chislehurst.

Purpose of Job
To be responsible for the Gmac funding plans for the group.
Job Content
To maintain and reconcile the Gmac funding plans for all branches on a weekly basis.
To ensure the prompt removal of sold vehicles from the funding plans and to fund existing stock.
To process the daily Gmac funding debits and creditor movements.
To complete the month end funding reconciliation within 5 days of month end, ensuring that any discrepancies are resolved before the month is closed.
To complete the daily cash flow forecast by 12pm to enable the accountant to be aware of cash movements within the business.
To reconcile the vehicle creditors in conjunction with the funding plans for the month end file.
To provide the Accountant and Finance Director with a weekly list of fully paid vehicles due to affect the business for the month in advance.
To carry out any further duties within capabilities when requested by management. These may include working outside normal hours.
Authority Levels
Authorised to recommend changes to systems for discussion with management.
