Due to continuing business success and growth our client now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Maintenance and Process Optimisation Manager to join their team in Crayford. Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
Maintenance and Process Optimisation Manager responsibilities:
– Champion and institutionalise the use of best practise maintenance techniques as set out in the RCM project plan.
– Evaluating developing and implementing continuous improvements to equipment and systems.
– Transferring the skills and knowledge to the site based maintenance and operations teams.
– Providing the Site Managers with training, advice and guidance on specific issues relating to operational developments and continuous improvements.
– Building and maintaining a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) culture across the business.
– Providing advice to Plant Managers/plant staff on equipment and processes, establishing conditions under which they can achieve commercial viability and efficiency.
– Liaising with the Departmental Managers to ensure the maintenance team, operators and contractors undertake work in compliance with agreed performance criteria.
– Reviewing maintenance activities to ensure best practice, economy, customer satisfaction and efficient use of resources.
– Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and key performance indicators set by the Company. This includes participation in both external and internal audits and ensuring electrical test and inspections are undertaken as required.
– Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and Company Policies/Procedures. This includes provision of risk assessments/method statements and undertaking the role as the Company’s Confined Space Champion
– Liaising with manufacturers and service providers to define maintenance requirements of equipment and systems.
The ideal Maintenance and Process Optimisation Manager:
In order to be successful for this role, you will need continued professional Development in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar engineering discipline. A Full UK driving license is essential for this role. You will also need:
– Strong management and leadership skills
– Ability to research appropriate technological developments and competitor activity
– Financially astute with good commercial acumen
– Self-motivation with the ability to work to deadlines and constantly juggle priorities
