Monkton Church of England Primary School wish to appoint a passionate and highly motivated full time class based teacher for our EYFS to cover maternity leave from September through to the end of March in the first instance.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to bringing out the best in all of our children, helping them reach their full potential. Evidence of good/outstanding practice is essential along with a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our Early Years teacher has a commitment to child-centred creative learning and fully recognises the importance of learning through play and we wish to continue this practice in her absence.

• A willingness to further develop and widen your own skills and take on board advice


• An ability to communicate, work well with and engage with parents


• An ability to use ICT to effectively enhance learning
