Person Specification – Physics Teaching Assistant
The new Physics Teaching Assistant will be a friendly Science graduate who has worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role and will a long history of academic success that includes a 2:2 or better in your degree and strong Science A-Levels. The school want to meet applicants who have an accurate knowledge of subjects across the curriculum and a constantly encouraging approach. The new Physics Teaching Assistant will have the drive to lead your students with your exemplary attitude, becoming a role model for them to look up to.
About the Physics Teaching Assistant role
As a Physics Teaching Assistant, your role will involve you spending most of your working day within the school’s innovative Science Department and you will be learning first-hand how to design and lead a lesson. The school have a range of staff who are willing to work 1:1 with a TA or LSA and give them the best start possible for a successful career in education. You will have the responsibility of aiding the development of Physics students on a 1:1 and small group basis. In general, the new Physics Teaching Assistant will be starting to develop an understand on the best approach to teaching and developing your own style with the help of a thorough CPD and training plan. You will have the responsibility of gaining experience in a well-liked department where every teacher has earned the appreciation of their students.
