The pupils, staff and Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Year Four teacher. We need someone who is excited and interested by the journey and challenge within education; someone who is dedicated to bringing the very best to the pupils of Sutton Valence Primary School.

Our Year Four teachers will be responsible, alongside the KS2 leader and whole school, for innovation within the creative curriculum ensuring that the curriculum enhances and secures learning at every level across all areas. You will need to ensure that you can contribute to creating a learning environment that nurtures our wonderful pupils helping them achieve their individual potential.

Sutton Valence Primary School has been on quite a journey to be in its now stable position. Overall we have been graded as an RI school however if you read the full report (Nov ’15) you will read we have and are making rapid progress; aspiring as a good or better school at our next inspection.

Sutton Valence is a village primary developing links with its community and a wider audience. We have a dedicated Governing Body who are supportive in the schools journey. We are at the stage where it would be fantastic timing for a new member of the team to join us allowing the successful applicant to fully contribute in our next steps. We are working towards a Thinking Skills school alongside Forest school work with our talented and well-behaved pupils who are open to everything that is planned for and with them.

Shortlisted applicants will be visited in their school environment or invited to teach at our school.
