Shipping/Receiving Supervisor Outline
Position Hours: 7 – 4
Brief Summary of Duties:

• Verify accuracy of all outbound shipments / deliveries


• Verify accuracy of all inbound shipments


• Advise Inventory Mgr of any discrepancies immediately


• Receive all inbound shipments into inventory


• Work closely with Inventory Mgr to determine locations for product and ensure proper storage


• Assist loading/unloading trucks as needed


• Assist with inventory cycle counts bi-monthly and full inventory bi-yearly


• Help to maintain a clean organized work environment


• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair quotes


• Supervise shipping and receiving employees in their daily duties


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a warehouse leadership position


• Demonstrated attention to detail


• Forklift certified a must


• Experience with accounting software and a basic knowledge of MS Office


• Must have reliable transportation/ clean driving record


• Drug free / must pass a drug screen
