My client secondary school based in Bexley is now an academy and one of the top schools in London let alone Kent! Part of a federation it is a great base for any graduate seeking the right training and skills as a teaching assistant before going on to complete a PGCE.

The role as an SEN teaching assistant will see you working either with a group of pupils with learning difficulties or on a one to one basis. This will require a determined graduate with experience working with children or young people with learning difficulties in the past.

You will be supporting these pupils on a day to day basis cross-curricular where you will be assigned timetables of each pupil and also supporting teachers in setting up classrooms and aiding them in achieving their academic goals. The graduate will also be given the chance to attend extracurricular activities such as after school tuition to ensure expectations are being met.

The school and community both work together in order to achieve excellent results every year. This particular London school has great transport links going in and out of London and will be a great opportunity for a recent graduate in paving the way to a future career as a teacher.

Requirements

• Recent graduate (Within last 5 years)


• Commit to working full time for the start of the academic year


• Experience in working with children (Voluntarily or non-voluntarily)
