POSITION : Approvals & Certification Electronic Engineer

SALARY : £26000 – £31000 basic, profit related bonus, excellent pension scheme, free parking, career growth, annual pay rises
LOCATION : Kent
EXPERIENCE : To be suitable for this role, you must have an HNC, preferably a degree in electronics, electrical engineering or similar with experience of EN54 standards, ATEX and IECEX with experience of approvals and certification.
The company is a major manufacturer, innovator and market leader dealing in world wide markets as far afield US and Australia. They are now looking for an essential new member of the team attached to the compliance department.
Your role will be to
- Technically assist customers who have applied for EN54, ATEX or IECEX certification, confirming compliance of the equipment to various published standards
- Assess the new prototypes or pre-prototype designs prior to mass manufacturing to ensure they will comply with all of the relevant compliance
- Prepare assessments, certification, examination test reports with all of the relevant procedure drawings.
- Assess any drawings, documentation, descriptions prior to submitting for certification
- Calculate and estimate the costs of any design changes or new products going through the certification process
- Submit samples for testing and certification
To be suitable for this role you must be resident in Kent, have a full driving licence, at least an HNC preferably electronic based, with an excellent knowledge of approvals and certification.
