SOLA is recruiting a permanent Attendant Counselor 2 who has a passion for excellence and compassionate care. We invite you to be a part of our team. This job is located at SOLA in Kent. As a Direct Support Professional, your work hours will be 11:00 pm – 7:00 am Sunday through Thursday with Friday/Saturday as your days off. You’ll provide supervision and instruction to SOLA participants in accordance with Individual Service Plans (ISP), Risk Protocols, Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP), Delegated Nursing Guidelines and Responsibilities, and Individual Financial Plans. Clients may exhibit challenging behavior, may be assaultive, have a dual diagnosis of intellectual disability and mental health, have community protection issues and/or clients with health problems. Qualifications High School graduation or GED AND 1 year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities and must be able to obtain and maintain Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) or NAC certification. OR High School graduation or GED AND 1 year experience as an Attendant Counselor 1, equivalent or higher level as a Washington State service employee and must be able to obtain and maintain Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) or NAC certification.
