Information about the school
St Peter’s is a small, delightful village primary school situated in a popular area of Kent. We take pride in our caring and supportive attitude to everyone at the school and aim to ensure that the continued professional development of all staff is a priority.
Ofsted 2015 stated: “Pupils have positive attitudes to learning. They work hard and want to do their best. Relationships between pupils and adults are strong.”. We have a happy team of staff who are dedicated to children’s learning and providing a safe and inspiring environment for them so that they can progress and achieve their full potential.
Parents are integral to the children’s progress, over time we have built up a unique relationship with the parents and they take an active part in their children’s learning. We encourage close and regular contact with them and they value this relationship.
We have the benefit of the school owned onsite nursery which assists smooth transitions through the early years and the school itself is housed in a Victorian building and the old vicarage. Our curriculum and values are unpinned by a strong Christian ethos that is valued in the school and encourages a warm and inclusive environment.
Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
