Salary – £25,500 plus Car plus Bonus
Location – Maidstone, Bromley, Rochester, London, Dartford, Canterbury, Tonbridge

Their 10,000 hard working lifestyle Couriers make this happen and provide a high quality doorstep service, with their Delivery Managers supporting and inspiring them along the way.
About the role:
The Delivery Manager is essential in overseeing and managing the region’s couriers ‘final mile’ delivery service.
Your job will be to ensure that the business and customer expectations are met along with making sure KPIs are continually monitored in order to develop contingency planning, issue resolution and escalation management.
You’ll have accountability for specific tasks such as:
* Reviewing the service performance with self-employed couriers for all delivery types
* Working alongside the Compliance Manager on targets
* Interviewing, selecting and on-boarding couriers that fit the courier profile
* Negotiating service cost, pay rates & rate reviews for couriers
* Responsible for Service performance in nominated Sub Depots
About you:
You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work with depots across the region as part of a growing team.
Essential Skills for the role:
* Prepared to deal with challenging situations
* Adaptable to different styles and behaviours within the team
* Be an effective communicator (to couriers)
* Problem solving and planning effective contingencies and solutions
* Competent negotiation skills
* Competent in data interrogation and basic understanding of excel and well as being computer literate
* Professional appearance, articulate and able to communicate confidently at all levels
