Summary

Assists Van Operators, Local Drivers, Crew Leaders, Local Operations Personnel and Warehouse Manager in handling of customer shipments and storage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.

Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck and in warehouse to prevent damage during shipment or storage.

Delivers and stacks merchandise on customer’s premises and company facility/warehouse and obtains receipt for goods.

Education and/or Experience Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
