My client Secondary school in Dartford is looking to appoint a Science graduate to support their Science department, as a Teaching Assistant, for the remainder of this academic year. The school would like any applicants to meet the following criteria before applying; they must be a graduate with a 2:1 level of degree or above; be in the process of applying to/ have already applied and been accepted onto, a PGCE or a School’s Direct programme. The school are very keen to offer this position to a high achieving Science graduate with a view to supporting their Science Department across all 3 key stages.


The school are keen to develop the next generation of Teachers and are in the process of recruiting graduates in all subject areas to work as a Teaching Assistant this year. This Teaching Assistant position is to award a Science graduate with the opportunity to prove themselves in an academic environment and demonstrate their teaching potential.


The Teaching Assistant role includes supporting pupils from KS3 – KS5, giving the successful applicant an opportunity to work with different ages and abilities. All the sciences need equal support so it is hoped that you will have no problem supporting in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
