Sales Support - initial 6 month Contract




Sales Support Co-Ordinator – Initial 6 month contract (possible permanent opportunity)
£!9.000 – £24,000 pro rata depending on experience

Reporting to the Commercial Manager of this large corporate business the Sales Support Coordinator will have a key role in being responsible in supporting them and a team of remote Business Development Managers with all sales activities, ranging from daily contact & support with internal stakeholders and customers through to support with marketing activity, updating CRM systems, proposals, bids and tender responses.


The main duties & responsibilities of the Sales Support Coordinator will be:
*Daily support to Sales team (Business Development Manager x 3)
*Review and/or compile proposals and quotes for BDMs ready to send to customers
*Support with updating and reporting the CRM system
*Work with Marketing to regularly update sales collateral to reflect their range of products & services and ensure they meet requirements of their customers
*Support wider initiatives for cross-selling and up-selling across other teams in the business
*Undertake analysis on customers, sectors and conversion success to shape future strategy


Monitor opportunities using tracking service, identify opportunities and review with Commercial Manager and any stakeholders
*Compile draft tender responses when required
*Support BDMs with contact & support to prospective customers during the sales process
*Support with on-boarding process across to other teams when contract is won with a new customer
*Be capable of delivering a PowerPoint presentation to customers when required (ad-hoc)


The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the end-to-end sales process and critical areas required for support
Experience of working within a sales team environment (or equivalent demanding environment)
Experience in a customer facing role
Competent with all Microsoft packages to a high standard (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong written communication skills for bids or tenders
Skilled in building relationships with internal stakeholders & customers, both over the phone and face-to-face
Committed to meeting challenging deadlines and succeeding in team sales targets
Demonstrates professionalism at all times
A team player


Hours Monday to Friday 37 per week
Pension, Parking and 25 days holiday


It would be ideal if you have a short notice period as this role is available to start for the right candidate
