About the role

We are seeking a Credit Control Team Leader to join our well established and successful organisation in Sittingbourne. Your main role will be to supervise the day to day running and organisation of a team of ten people in order that customer and productivity standards are met.

What you will do:

• Manage the delivery of Service Level Agreements, ensuring client service standards and protocols are met through effective management of the team.


• Supervise team performance by allocating priorities and workloads to enable direct reports to achieve and exceed individual and business quality, compliance and productivity targets, supported by coaching and development.


• Build and maintain effective relationships within internal teams and external contacts.


• Measure, analyse and report on team productivity, current working practices, and Key Performance Indicators making recommendations for change / improvement and implementing where required.


• Monitor direct reports’ performance, to include bi-annual Performance Reviews.


• Demonstrate good customer care skills in all dealings with internal and external customers whilst continuously promoting Capita visions, values and culture.

Your experience will include:

• Credit control experience


• Excel expertise


• Ability to effectively manage a team of Credit Controllers


• Ability to proactively manage client relationships to ensure money is collected efficiently


• Track record meeting targets and SLAs
