Service engineer position available in a national company offering excellent full product training. This is a great move for applicants with engines experience looking for a local service role repairing a fleet of forklifts.

Great overall package as you will earn £30,000 – £33,000 with overtime and call out.  Call out is only 10 weeks a year and actually getting called out is rare. This is the ideal role for those looking for a local field postion (no stay away or UK travel) in a very people focused company. 

To apply for the role you must have engines experience –marine engineers, aircraft engineers, automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, agricultural, forklift or ex forces military vehicle engineers are all encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of materials handling machinery and associated equipment in Bromley, Croydon, Rochester, Tonbridge areas.

The Role:

*Carry planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

The Person:

*A qualified mechanical engineer with engine experience

*Full UK driving licence and live in/close to the area

*Willingness to take on comprehensive training programme
