Our client is a very successful and popular Academy in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Our client is housed in a stunning £21millon building with a £1.4million IT infrastructure. Working with them means you get to use and learn about the latest technology and work with an experienced IT team.

In this job you will…
As an IT Technician Apprentice you will be working with a small team to provide IT support and services to the school. Come and work in a modern, dynamic, and successful Academy, and work with the latest exciting technology.
- Provide direct IT support to staff and students at both Academies
- Will be the main point of contact for IT support for the primary school
- Will assist in the production of presentations, video work, and display screens around the Academy
- Will learn about, and assist with the day to day running of the network and associated systems and software. Windows Server, Active Directory, etc…
- You will help set up and manage desktops, laptops, iPads etc…
The Academy has its own gym which staff are free to use. There is the opportunity to run your own clubs with the students if you have a particular area of interest. You may also get the chance to take part in Academy trips and visits. The Academy is a very friendly place to work. Free Benenden health cover is also included as a benefit during your time with the client.
Annual performance management process to determine your pay progression over the course of your apprenticeship.
An enhanced DBS check is required.
Your training will…
Start with an 18-24 month Higher IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work-based assessment, with modules that could include: Management in IT, Data communications and networking, IT consulting skills and Project management.
You will gain City & Guilds Level 4 Diplomas in IT Systems and Principles, and IT Professional Competence. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £30k in the IT sector.
