The Senior Leadership Team are excited to advertise an opportunity to join our dedicated team as a class teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing a range of Key Stage 3 National Curriculum subjects, including English and Maths, to a small group of 6- 8 pupils to help meet their learning needs as part of a discrete class in the secondary phase of the school from 1st September 2016. This post will be suitable for teachers with either KS2 or KS3 teaching experience.

There may well also be the opportunity to teach other classes and subjects related to the successful candidates experience and interests

Information about the school

St Anthonys is an all age (7-16) special school for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. They may also have a diagnosis ASD, ADHD, ODD or DAMP or learning difficulties. Pupils work in small class groups supported by a high ratio of adults. Teachers are supported by a small team of therapists to reduce the pupils barriers to learning.
