POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility for this position is to assure that all functions to support Warehouse and Manufacturing are done with complete accuracy, in the most cost effective manner to support of our internal and external customers.

Develop and maintain a productive staff, minimizing employee turnover and increasing efficiencies in all warehouse functions.
Insure a safe work environment by maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and making sure that all employees are aware of the safety rules and their surroundings.
Manage all inbound and outbound warehouse functions, to both internal and external customers, insuring complete accuracy, efficient productivity.
Insure the best possible cost effectiveness within the warehouse operation, by managing all expenditures for necessity, correctness, and competitiveness.
Manage productivity tracking, thereby enabling the professional management of the warehouse staff and the ongoing development of that staff.
Insure that daily cycle counts are completed and reconciled so that our accuracy is at 99.75% or better at each inventory.
Ensure that machine operators are properly trained and certified and operate and maintain the equipment in a safe manner and cost effective manner
Manage the security of the Warehouse facility.
Conduct on time and thorough employee reviews.
Manage the continual development of the Warehouse staff, including Leads to oversee the daily warehouse activities in a safe, productive, and cost efficient manner.
Insure that HACCP and SQF procedures are followed daily and all documentation is submitted on a daily basis.
Manage warehouse labor and overtime to maximize cost effectiveness and budget figures
Maintain the warehouse by insisting on neatness, cleanliness and organization
Insure the efficient management and handling of product to minimize damage and maximize warehouse efficiency
Maintain accountability to Oberto Brands Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Manage the Private Fleet drivers and equipment to ensure meeting DOT regulations and maximizing driver productivity
Informs Management of any food safety or quality issues or of any processes which have become non-compliant with specified requirements.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Back Up: The Warehouse Manager is the back up to the Distribution Manager.
Back Up: The Warehouse Manager is the back up to the Distribution Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Logisitics or related field preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Six Sigma or Lean Certification Preferred
EXPERIENCE
5+ years experience in warehouse management in a manufacturing setting preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE
Must have working knowledge of Food Safety and Regulatory business standards, practices, policies, procedures and state and federal laws and regulations including but not limited to HACCP, GMP’s, SSOP’s, OSHA and Labor Laws.
Microsoft Office computer software applications at a medium to expert user level.
Knowledge and experience in Distribution/Warehousing Management
Knowledge of transportation and logistics managament.
