Secondary Cover teachers required for the Canterbury and the surrounding area, Kent.

Are you a HLTA or Cover Supervisor looking for supply work in the Canterbury, Margate, Dover area? Hays Education are currently looking for Cover Supervisors to provide support in schools across East Kent.

As a Cover Supervisor you will be a member of non-teaching staff who is responsible for whole classes of students across the secondary school curriculum. They are responsible for supervising work set by a member of the teaching staff and managing classroom behaviour at all times.

The Canterbury office is currently very busy with a high demand for Cover Supervisors in the Canterbury area.

As a school Cover Supervisor, your background and skills should include:

– Relevant Classroom Experience
– Willingness to promote learning
– Strong classroom management skills
– Flexible and adaptable approach to work
– Positive Outlook
– Innovative and resourceful classroom management methods
– Part-qualified Teacher
– EAL Teacher
– Unqualified or overseas trained Teacher

NB- Minimum of 3 months’ worth of school-experience references in the last two years is essential
