A ‘Good’ Secondary School in the heart of Maidstone is looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Learning Support Assistant from September/October 2016.

The ideal new Learning Support Assistant must have a Maths or Science related degree and be looking for good experience to further their career in education. Any subject of degree is permitted but only if you have strong A-levels in Maths or any of the Sciences.
The position will involve supporting pupils in Maths and Science throughout the year groups. You will be working with pupils of all abilities so your interpersonal and communication skills will be tested on a daily basis. This position is a fantastic opportunity to develop your subject delivery in preparation for your future career as a Secondary Science or Maths Teacher.

The successful new Learning Support Assistant must have a passion for secondary education and be able to relate effectively to pupils between the ages of 11-15. They must bring this enthusiasm with them and see this as an opportunity to really make a difference to the lives and futures of their pupils. As this is a good school with excellent inclusion they expect all members of staff to have an excellent work ethic, which will contribute positively to every child’s education.
