The role

Currently we are seeking an experienced Quality Control Team Leader to join our growing UK facility. This stand-alone role is a great opportunity to take overall responsibility for the QC requirements of the facility. Your duties and responsibilities will vary as this role and the site develops. Responsibilities of this role include:

• Assisting with the development of the Genea Biomedx QMS


• Development of QC processes including test method validation, implementation, execution and maintenance


• Provide advice on microbiological issues within the Manufacturing, QC and QA teams


• Product release to market


• Plan, manage and deliver on QC Projects


• Assisting RA with input into technical file preparations

Your experience

To be successful in this role you must have previous experience working in Quality Control; ideally having set up Microbiology or Pathology laboratories. As the only QC expert based in the facility you must be flexible and adaptable in order to support projects and development initiatives as they evolve, providing both QA & RA expertise. Previous experience in validating test methods is essential and a background in medical devices will be highly regarded. You must be confident, self-driven and have a flexible and positive attitude.
