About the Teaching Assistant role

You will be lending support to teachers of all year groups as you join a range of classrooms that best suits your degree subject. Your responsibilities will include targeting areas of the curriculum pupils struggle with by working with them on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, giving your expertise of your degree subject to these pupils, enthusing them with the confidence and knowledge they need to succeed. Throughout this Teaching Assistant role you will be working under an experienced SENCo who will ensure you’re given all the training and development needed to become a successful member of the support staff team.
