AYCLIFFE COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL: Teaching Assistant Teaching/Child Support - Part-time

Pay: Kent Range 3


30 hours per week, term-time only to be a teaching assistant for an autisitc pupil, during a maternity leave.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to support our pupils’ progress. Also, you will be required to take part in play activities and other aspects of school life.


You will have:


A Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent, or experience of delivering Literacy and Numeracy interventions; Good understanding of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT; GCSE English and Maths C or equivalent; A calm and flexible approach; Good understanding of school policies and procedures relating to health & safety, behaviour, attendance, equal opportunities and child protection. Experience or qualifications relating to the foundation stage would be desirable.
