The Role

We are looking for two qualified experienced Dog Groomers with a minimum of City & Guilds Advanced or Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming qualification. The successful applicant must be able to complete a groom from start to finish on all breeds to a high professional standard (grooming your own pet does not qualify as professional standard). You should have at least 1 years’ experience as a groomer.

As well as sharing your knowledge and advice with customers, you will also be responsible for maintaining our standards of grooming and presentation within the salon. You will ensure the salon is well presented and clean at all times with a good level of husbandry whilst making certain our customers (and their pets) always leave happy.

Love My Hound is a new business looking for professional dog grooming stylists to work within our new salon/boutique centrally located in Beckenham, Kent and/or in our state-of-the-art mobile grooming unit outside customer’s homes or work place. We believe we are uniquely positioned to really understand what dog owners want and need for their much loved hounds and provide goods and services through a number of channels.

Benefits

We are a London Living Wage supporter – You will receive a basic salary of £20,000 per annum (flexible depending on experience) together with incentives including funding for external training courses, staff discount and 28 days annual leave (pro rata and including bank holidays).

Working hours weekly are 37.5, set across 5 days from 7.

Full driving license desirable.
