Information about the school

Gad’s Hill School is an independent day school situated in a semi rural position on the North Downs in the village of Higham near the historical Cathedral city of Rochester in Kent. The school is co-educational and takes pupils from 3–16 years and has a school roll of around 355 pupils. As an independent school Gad’s is a wonderful place to work. The children are genuinely enthusiastic and there is a very positive and welcoming atmosphere.

The school has expanded much in the past ten years or so due to its successes and has ambitious plans for further future development. During 2013 the school opened a new Kindergarten and Junior school, the first phase of a £10m new school project and which will see the eventual construction of a new Senior school building in about 2020.
