The Role
We currently have a unique opportunity available for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support our Manufacturing and Supply Chain activities in our Kent based facility. This is an ideal position for an experienced candidate who has worked within supply chain and manufacturing functions previously and understands the requirements of inventory control, on time delivery and demand management. We are looking for an individual with demonstrated experience in procurement and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

This is a newly created role in a growing business so we are seeking the person who takes on this position to be flexible, take initiative and be happy to support the team as required. Experience working in a start up business will also be highly regarded as would exposure to the medical devices or biotechnology industry.

You will have a extensive knowledge of ERP/MRP, Word and Excel systems use as well as demonstrated experience in handling raw materials, production processes, costing, quality control and warehousing. In addition, you must posses a working knowledge of the principles of transporting goods by air, rail or road including relative costs and benefits.

Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain or logistics are essential as are your strong written and verbal communication skills.
