The school needs a Media Studies Teacher who can plan and teach fun, interactive lessons across the Key Stages, making sure to differentiate for high-achievers and low-attainers too. The Media Studies Teacher Role
In this exciting Media Studies Teacher position you will be teaching and working as a crucial part of the professional Arts faculty! Day-to-day, you will be taking charge of eager, energetic Media classes and will have the opportunity to weave your own creative thread through the Media curriculum and collaborate with other teachers to offer a unified and purposeful Media education to all!
The School
This is a well-liked Secondary Academy in Bexley, South East London and is rated as being ‘Good in all areas’ by its latest Ofsted inspection. It is also a training school, meaning you will receive excellent support and top-notch CPD throughout your time here! The catchment area for this school is tough, with a lot of depravity leading to students entering the school with low levels, however due to the quality of teaching and the curriculum, a lot of these students leave having made excellent progress, and Media Studies is no different. That said, only 27% of GCSE students last year picked up 5 A*-C grades that included both English and Maths! Room for improvement there!
This is the perfect opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to really make a difference as a Media Studies Teacher. Send your CV to Tom Stoten at EduStaff today!
Please note: due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
