There are multiple openings in the supplier management organization for combination contracts/operations procurement agents to join our challenging, fast paced, and rewarding environment These job roles require highly organized individuals to manage suppliers, metrics, and projects. Knowledge of supplier management and supply chain procurement processes is required to be successful.
Successful candidate should be a motivated, energetic, self-starting individual able of completing projects and assignments with minimal instruction, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and possess strong inter-personal and customer satisfaction skills. Candidate must be capable of functioning and dealing with change and uncertainty. Should be innovative, able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in an effective manner in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
The procurement agent role responsibilities include: Lead supplier development including but not limited to new programs, quality improvement plans, supplier recovery Manage supplier performance and relationships Ensures suppliers are able to support production rates Proactively identifies and mitigates production risk Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management Strong communication skills required Works with airplane program and multiple stakeholders Leads negotiations with suppliers Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Prepares and executes negotiate contractual documents and binding agreements. Leads sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
Bachelor’s degree and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In addition, candidate should have intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use and application of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project) as well as be capable of quick learning other tools and processes in use.
