Information about the school
Hilltop School is a large, oversubscribed, primary school situated in a pleasant part of Rochester known as Frindsbury. It is within walking distance of Strood station and also close to the by-pass with fast access to the A2/M2. The school enjoys an excellent reputation in Medway Council and with the local community. The school has very good facilities on-site for both pupils and staff.
The school is also fortunate in having a large indoor heated swimming pool. Every classroom has an interactive whiteboard and networked computer and all teachers have a laptop. The building has wifi to allow flexibility when teaching ICT, with a brand new (March 2015) Computer Suite with 30 networked computers.
Results at the end of Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are always above National and Local averages and continue to rise. This is down to having excellent staff, motivated children and parents who work with the school to ensure that all children achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
