Person Specification for KS2 SEN Teacher
For this post you should be a charismatic and positive KS2 SEN Teacher who has previous experience teaching children with SEN requirements and is able to plan lessons that circumvent the need for behavioural management. You will arrive with expert classroom management ability and the potential to become a consistently ‘Outstanding’ classroom practitioner. We want to see SEN teachers with the drive to use their clear communication and structured lesson plans to deliver engaging lessons that all our students will benefit from.

About the Role of KS2 SEN Teacher
At this inclusive school, as a KS2 SEN Teacher you will be teaching one of the classes within KS2 based on your skills, experience, and personal preference and you will be focusing especially on improving academic performance. Your KS2 SEN Teacher duties will include training and making the most of CPD opportunities in order to ensure your teaching skills continue to progress. Your KS2 SEN Teacher lesson planning and delivery will be complemented by the assistance of a full-time TA – possibly 2 at this school. This KS2 SEN Teacher position involves using your own brand of creative and forwarding thinking teaching practice. You will have the opportunity to teach under and work alongside a truly inspirational Headteacher.
