Year 1 Teacher – Person Specification

The school want to meet a reliable Year 1 Teacher who has a holistic but creative approach to teaching. You will be a Year 1 Teacher who can bring your personal love of education to the classroom and to the school as a whole.

About the Year 1 Teacher role

As a Year 1 Teacher your role will involve you taking over a happy Year 1 class which has 31 pupils and you will be teaching your class in a way that inspires further learning and creativity in your students. In this Year 1 Teacher role, you will be supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will ensure your classroom is fully stocked for the day’s lessons ahead. This Year 1 Teacher role will see you working alongside a hands on Headteacher who regularly covers PPA time herself to get back in to the classroom. Throughout this Year 1 Teacher role you will be given every opportunity to advance your career through numerous CPD courses that will enable you to reach your career and personal aspirations.
