Administrative Manager, Supply Chain - Providence Health & Services - Renton, WA
**Providence is calling an Administrative Manager, Supply Chain to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.**
We are seeking an Administrative Manager to provide managerial oversight and direction to the administration staff supporting the Supply Chain organization. The mission of the staff is to support the efforts of the SVP Supply Chain, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Procurement Officer, and others as assigned, in the fulfillment of their mission and responsibilities. The staff provides support services in the areas of administration, communications, development, finance, and project coordination. Additionally, activities of this position include supporting an executive(s) by managing calendars, correspondence, meeting and agenda preparation and other logistical matters. The administration staff, in carrying out their responsibilities, joins with the Leadership Team in supporting the Mission of the Sisters of Providence to serve the poor and marginalized, seeking ways to support peace, justice and environmental sustainability.
**In this position you will: **
+ Collaborate with other division resources, develop and help maintain a plan for the Supply Chain administration offices, including personnel development and operations manuals.
+ Provide effective oversight and coordination of Supply Chain office projects, workflow, balancing work assignments and meeting deadlines.
+ Plan for, coordinate and ensure cross-training for support staff roles and functions in order to provide for a smooth workflow when caregivers are not in the office or for transitions between departures and hiring of new staff.
+ In collaboration with the SVP Supply Chain, develop the agenda for the scheduled staff meetings.
+ Promote an office environment that supports and encourages a strong team spirit among caregivers and professional interactions that are respectful of all serving in the offices and of those being served.
+ Independently, or in consultation with the SVP, develop plans needed to carry out assigned projects and activities; establish methods and schedules to implement and maintain activities for the executive. Exercise extensive independent judgment to reflect and match executive’s leadership style.
+ Facilitate, and perform administrative functions in support of meetings of executive groups as assigned. Support activities include timely collection and preparation of draft agendas; prioritizing items in consultation with executives to finalize agenda; dissemination of meeting materials; coordination of meeting records, evaluations and follow-up reports.
**Qualifications: **
**Required qualifications for this position include: **
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
+ Minimum four years demonstrated experience in office management, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
+ Minimum four years as an administrative assistant for a senior executive.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel – QuickBooks a plus.
