Some of our experienced teachers are leaving us due to promotion or relocation. Although we are very sorry to see them go this brings opportunities for creative, talented, outstanding teachers to join the Copperfield teaching team. Copperfield Academy is a strongly improved school.

We are waiting Ofsted this term but recent external moderation indicates that the school is likely to be graded as Good in all areas!

We are a two/ three form entry school with a richly diverse community of children. Our children are very keen learners and behaviour is strongly good in all year groups. Progress is good and outstanding with standards now at national averages in all key stages. We are striving to be an outstanding school.

Copperfield is seeking very good/ outstanding experienced teachers. Middle leaders or those who have the skills and drive to be fast- tracked into middle leadership are also encouraged to apply. We have a successful track record of developing strong leaders with opportunities and mentoring in school and also with the REAch2 Leadership programme which is open to all leaders at all levels.
