Pay: MPS / UPS + TLR2a (£6,449 per FTE)
Cornwallis Academy have an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful Geography department and take on the role as Head of Department on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for a teacher who is really passionate and excited about teaching Geography and motivated to inspire our young people.
The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the skillset of being able to lead a successful team, developing innovative schemes of works and illustrate excellent understanding of data analysis to continue to improve attainment and progress outcomes for our students.
The focus of the Geography department at Cornwallis Academy is to ensure that students make outstanding progress and feel passionately towards the subject.
As well as our state of the art facilities, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities and can offer you a laptop computer with access to a high range of high quality teaching and learning resources.
