To be considered you will need to be a bright English graduate who is able to showcase your unstoppable desire to become a teacher. You will provide a real passion for education that will be reflected in your students attitude towards their work.

About the role

This English Schools Direct position involves supporting learning in a general capacity, across the school while you train to become a fully qualified English Teacher. You will have the chance to lead individual sessions with particularly gifted or challenging pupils and help to run smaller ‘booster’ groups of targeted intervention. You will also be planning and delivering exciting English lessons that will see you develop your skills even further. As you train to become an English Teacher, you will be teaching part of a timetable that will gradually increase as you progress through the course.
