Humanities Teacher required immediately in Gravesend

Humanities Teaching Job located in Gravesend – Long term Maternity cover until February 2017

Starting immediately or needed for Term 6

Your new school
A Secondary School based in Gravesend are looking to recruit a Humanities Teacher with the ability to teach History at KS4 but will be required to teach all Humanities at KS3 on a rotational basis.

Your new role
You will be a Humanities Teacher working full time immediately ideally or from Term 6 onwards covering until Feb 2017. You will be an expert in the Humanities curriculum for Key Stage 3 and 4, and a specialist Humanities subject at Key Stage 5 is desirable. You will need to exert your expertise to a variety of students, have a passion for working with children and a determination to deliver the very best results to assist in the overall growing reputation of the school.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT). This opportunity would suit either an experienced Humanities teacher looking for a new challenge, or a newly qualified Humanities teacher looking for the ‘right’ school to start their teaching career in a Gravesend Secondary School.
