This post requires an experienced teacher who has the skills to quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses each pupil has whilst they learn and guide them accordingly.

About the Head of Music role

As a Head of Music your role will involve you expanding your duties as the leader of a successful Music Department that has recently had an overhaul and is now fully stocked with exciting new resources. The key to this role is the understanding of the importance of CPD in the development of your team, allowing your team every opportunity to become consistently `Outstanding` practitioners. Throughout this Head of Music role, you shall be reporting to the SLT with the current strengths and weaknesses of the department with a clear plan for improvement and sustainability.
