Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide recruitment process support : Post job opportunities in our tracking system, place targeted advertisements, screen applications, schedule interviews and prepare interview materials, administer skills testing, and onboard new staff. Identify opportunities for improving the hiring manager and candidate experience.
- Maintain multiple systems and generate reports : Enter and maintain data in our applicant tracking system (NeoGov) and position and employee management system (PeopleSoft). Maintain SharePoint site. Generate analytics/metrics from systems.
- Records Management : Maintain various internal logs, create and maintain electronic and paper recruitment and personnel files; compile information, and archive records.
Competitive Candidates will have:
- Experience providing a wide variety of HR administrative support with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentially .
- Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of human resources management.
- Skill in using multiple systems and applications (King County uses Microsoft Office Suite, NeoGov, and PeopleSoft.)
- Ability to evaluate data quality and develop dashboard metrics.
- Committed to continuous improvement of systems and practices to enhance service delivery, and improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
- Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.

Other Position Information: This position is overtime-eligible. Our employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, comprising a 40-hour workweek; normally 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is not represented.
