This pivotal role creates a unique opportunity to lead a large special school, which is outward looking and focused on the highest possible progression for its children. As our Headteacher you will be responsible for reducing learner’s reliance on adults, by stretching them and ensuring they reach their full potential and life goals.

Laleham Gap School has already come so far on its journey towards outstanding. We are a contemporary; rapidly growing school providing high quality education for children aged 4 to 16 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Speech and Language Disorders. You will benefit from our new, modern building, to accommodate our expansion which has made a huge difference to the development of our school and the facilities we offer our children.

We are looking for a leader who will strive to work in successful partnership with other schools within the local area to improve wider provision for pupils with special needs. As our Headteacher you will have the opportunity to influence and improve outcomes for all special needs learners whilst contributing to the wider network of Kent Special Schools.
