Learning Support Assistant – Isle of Sheppey – Ongoing

I’m currently working with a collection of schools on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, that are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their teams on a day 2 day basis or long-term basis as soon as possible.

Your new role:
Learning Support Assistant – working on a 1:1 and small group basis with children with ASD and learning difficulties Full time – Long Term and Day to Day opportunities Available Potential opportunity for permanent position in September 2016 Competitive daily rate up to £80.00 (depending on experience)

What you’ll need to succeed:
The successful candidate will be an outstanding primary teaching assistant, with a clear passion for working with children and ensuring that each child strives to reach their fullest potential. You must also: Be eligible to work in the UK Be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in a child related subject Be an experienced SEN teaching assistant with evidence of child development Have experience of supporting the class teacher with gifted and talented pupils as well as with pupils who have English as a second language Possess valid references, DBS/police checks
