We are looking for a proactive and innovative individual who will be responsible for leading and managing the Sufficiency, Participation & Resources Service in Education.

You will manage a revenue budget of approx. £1.3m, a capital budget of approx. £30m and be responsible for approx. 45 FTE’s staff in the following service areas:

• Business planning, administration and resources



• Children’s Services Information, Data and Performance Management



• Pupil Place Planning



• School Organisation



• Capital funding / school buildings



• Post-16 participation



• Youth Advisory Services & Careers Guidance



• School Meals

You will have experience of successful service leadership and management in the public sector/local authority education and skills, as well as the ability to promote, lead and deliver strategies to secure value for money, continuous service improvement and the development of quality customer focused services.
