Person Specification for SEN Reception Teacher
This position would suit an enthusiastic and personable SEN Reception Teacher who has previous experience teaching children with SEN requirements and can deliver fun and meaningful lessons. You should be able to use your creative and dynamic approach to bring new ideas into the school, driving attainment through exciting lesson content and high levels of student interaction. The school wants to see a SEN Reception Teacher who has a genuine excitement for education and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning in general.

About the Role of SEN Reception Teacher
As a SEN Reception Teacher you will be teaching a spirited Reception class of between 6 – 8 children and you will be developing new, creative activities and planning interesting lessons. Your SEN Reception Teacher responsibilities will include planning and preparing consistently creative and engaging SEN lessons with the use of the schools outstanding resources, using an outside learning area that flows from the main classroom. Part of your SEN Reception Teacher role will include delivering SEN lessons with the support of an energetic Teaching Assistants who will help you manage your class.
