Shipping and Receiving Technician - The Robbins Company - Kent, WA

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Builds, loads, bands, and marks crates as needed for shipping of product. Records and verifies the actual content of shipments.

2. Retrieves and stages product for outbound shipments. Ensures shipments are correct as to content and quantity.

3. Assists the Traffic Coordinator as required.

4. Reconciles received goods with packing lists and stores the product in the designated warehouse location. Works with the Purchasing Department whenever receiving discrepancies are found.

5. Pulls parts from inventory for staging in assembly area to support cutter assembly work.

6. Performs cycle counts and records and reports variances to the Inventory Dept.

7. Loads and unloads trucks with forklift.

8. Maintains forklifts & all other shipping equipment, shipping supply stock levels, and a tidy work area.

9. Coats certain products with corrosion prevention chemicals.

10. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: (education, experience, certifications)

• fork lift experience required.


• 1-3 years warehouse experience.


• Data entry and retrieval experience.


• Experience with nail guns and circular saws.


• Experience building heavy wooden crates is desirable.

ability to lift 50 lbs.

Exposure to high levels of noise

Works with solvents, chemicals, and noisy equipment that require protective equipment
