THE PRIMARY FIRST TRUST: Teaching Assistant Teaching/Child Support - Part-time
Start Date: Sep 2016
Pay: D2 – £15,523 – £19,523 per annum pro rata
We are looking for two dedicated, enthusiastic teaching assistants to work on a 1-1 basis with a child with Vision Impairment in the Foundation Stage.
You should –
- Have experience of working within a Teaching Assistant role
- Have experience of working with SEN children
- Have the ability to work within a team
- Have good Literacy, Numeracy and Communication skills
- Have basic technology skills – computer/iPad
- Be prepared to undertake any necessary training
Experience of working with a Vision Impaired child and knowledge of Braille would be ideal but not essential – training will be made available
